Religious Education Teacher

Aquinas College is a high-performing, co-educational, state-integrated Catholic College for Years 7 to 13, situated in Tauranga.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher of Religious Education to join our supportive and collaborative faculty.

The successful applicant will have a passion for Catholic education and the ability to deliver engaging Religious Education programmes that encourage students to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith, develop their spirituality and live out the Gospel values.

We are looking for a teacher who builds strong relationships with students, works collaboratively with colleagues and contributes positively to the faith life and wider community of the College.

Aquinas College is a member of the Tauranga Secondary Schools Science of Learning Cluster, and applicants must be committed to implementing evidence-informed High Impact Teaching Practices.

This is a special character position. A willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.
