About the role

Are you looking for a unique teaching position that is a little bit different?

We are looking for a passionate, creative, caring, experienced and inspirational part-time teacher who celebrates the importance of neurodiversity! We value strong relationships, putting our students at the heart of everything we do.

The Taranaki Neurodiversity Trust runs a 1-day pull-out programme (The Head Office) for students who are big thinkers and diverse gifted learners. Our curriculum is tailored towards the social and emotional wellbeing, and cognitive challenge for advanced minds.

We are now looking for a teacher to join our amazing, supportive team. The position is for 2 days a week initially, with potential to become 3 days.  We can offer close support as you gain experience with our unique curriculum and grow as a specialist educator while working alongside our fabulous neurodiverse learners. Class sizes are kept under twenty and each class is supported with a teacher aide.

You can find out more about our mahi on our website.
