Mathematics and Statistics Teacher

Rangitoto College is seeking enthusiastic, warm, and demanding teachers to join our highly successful, collegial mathematics and statistics department in January 2027 to support continued roll growth. Our ideal candidate will have experience teaching NCEA Calculus or NCEA Statistics to Level 3 and/or IB Analysis and Approaches or IB Applications and Interpretation to Higher Level.

We welcome applications from beginning teachers who can take advantage of our outstanding PCT programme. Strong mathematical ability is essential. We happily accept applications from primary - or secondary- trained teachers.

Knowledge and experience teaching New Zealand curriculum is required.

Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (STCA) as assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education. Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting rate of $64,119.00 and top rate of $107,886.00. Hours of work will be as set out in the STCA.
