About the role
Hikutaia School is seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative, and dedicated Year 1 teacher to join our supportive junior team. This is a permanent Scale A position starting Term 1 2027.
We are looking for an educator who:
- builds strong, positive relationships with students, whānau, and colleagues
- lives and models our school values in daily practice
- demonstrates strengths in te reo Māori and Mathematics
- has experience or a strong interest in Structured Literacy and junior classroom pedagogy.
