2 Scale A Teachers

Do you care about kids? Are you great at making relationships? Do you have a connection to our community?

River Hills School is seeking two passionate, relational educators to join our vibrant, supportive school community starting in Term 1 2026.

We are looking for teachers who:

• Put ākonga first: Hold a deep care for children and demonstrate a strong commitment to an inclusive, culturally responsive learning environment.
• Excel at relationships: Bring strong interpersonal skills, a belief in restorative practices, and the ability to connect authentically with learners, colleagues, and whānau.
• Connect with our community: Value the unique identity of Pakuranga and our school whānau.
• Share their strengths: We encourage applicants to clearly outline their curriculum passions, strengths, and areas of expertise (e.g. structured literacy, inquiry/STEM, the arts, PE, te reo Māori). Year levels are negotiable based on candidate strengths.

Beginning teachers warmly welcome and encouraged to apply. You will be supported by an experienced, collegial team and a comprehensive induction and mentoring programme designed to help you thrive.

Applicants must hold (or be eligible for) NZ teacher registration and be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
