Years 7-10 Technology and Science Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative NZ-registered technology teacher to join our vibrant Years 7-10 team from the beginning of the 2027 school year, teaching Year 7-10 technology and Years 7-8 science.

The successful applicant will be passionate about engaging students in practical, future-focused learning and able to deliver a broad technology programme. Strengths in one or more areas such as digital technologies, design and visual communication, robotics and science would be advantageous.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Builds positive and respectful relationships with students.
• Creates engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
• Demonstrates strong classroom practice and effective assessment.
• Works collaboratively as part of a supportive staff team.
• Will contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

This may also be suitable for a primary-trained teacher. Beginning teachers are welcome to apply.

Terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Area School Teachers' Collective Agreement – Education in New Zealand (ASTCA). Individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.

A willingness and ability to uphold the special character of the school and a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school shall be condition of appointment.
