About the role
Our fabulous associate principal has gained a principal position, so we are seeking an experienced, reflective and highly collaborative leader to join our collaborative team as a fully released associate principal for the start of 2027.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced educator who values the power of partnership and takes a coaching leadership approach in the growth and development of others.
We are looking for a leader who will:
- Champion the individual: See every tamaiti and kaimahi as a unique individual with their own strengths, passions, and learning styles, tailoring your approach to meet their needs and empower others.
- Use a coaching approach: Have some experience coaching others, and be part of leading our strong school-wide coaching culture
- Embrace collaboration: Be a proactive team player who is excited to contribute to and lead a highly supportive and positive team.
- Be pedagogically sound: Work collaboratively with others to champion equitable practice, student-centred learning and consistent, high-quality teaching across the school
- Lead learning support: bring strength and experience in SENCO/learning support, and work collaboratively with kaiako, whānau, and agencies to support all learners
We offer:
- A positive and collaborative environment: Join a team that genuinely cares for one another and provides strong ongoing coaching and professional development. Our teams are highly collaborative and work in close partnership together.
- Modern well resourced learning spaces: Work in beautiful, well resourced learning environments designed to foster creativity and collaboration.
- A supportive board: Work with a group of people who are genuinely committed to supporting and growing our team and ensuring that every ākonga has what they need to be successful.
- A great community: Be part of a welcoming, community-focused school environment in the wonderfully diverse and growing suburb of Churton Park.
