About the role
Applications are now invited by the Ōkaihau College board for the position of Principal at Ōkaihau College.
Ōkaihau College is a co-educational secondary school catering for students in Years 7 to 13 with a roll of approximately 260 students comprising 75% Māori. Our college is an integral part of Okaihau, a rural community in the mid northern region of Northland. We are situated one hour north of Whangarei, 20 minutes from Kerikeri, and 30 minutes from the Bay of Islands. We enjoy attractive and spacious grounds, and extensive and well-resourced, modern teaching spaces.
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, industrious leader of learning to lead the college community to continue its progression towards its objective of a high quality, bicultural education for all our students.
We anticipate that the successful applicant will be available to take up the position at the commencement of Term 2, 2027, or earlier by negotiation.
