Albury School Canterbury

Scale A Teacher

  • Full-time
  • Fixed-term (27 Apr to 15 Dec 2027)
  • Suitable for beginning teachers

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, capable Year 4-6  teacher to join our friendly team at Albury School from Term 2 2027.

We are a rural Year 1–6 school, where class sizes mean you can really know your learners and make a difference. We have a supportive staff and board, excellent resources, and a positive school community.

We are seeking a teacher who is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences, fostering a sense of belonging, and empowering tamariki to achieve success. You'll be joining a collaborative team that values strong relationships, high expectations, and a commitment to ensuring every learner thrives.

If you are looking for a school where you can enjoy genuinely small classes, strong relationships, professional support, and the opportunity to make a real contribution, we would love to hear from you.

A schoolhouse may be available. School visits are welcomed.
