Mangorei School Taranaki

Teacher

  • Full-time
  • Fixed-term (29 Jan to 16 Dec 2027)

About the role

We’re on the lookout for a passionate, team-focused teacher to join our awesome staff at Mangorei School for 2027.  This fixed-term position offers an exciting opportunity to cover a classroom teacher embarking on their OE.

Our school is known as a City School with a Country Heart - we’re close to the city, but still proudly connected to our rural roots. Our staff are a fantastic team - supportive, fun, and totally dedicated to helping our students live our vision of Knowing myself, knowing our place, and finding my future.

We’re also big on professional growth. Our team takes a thoughtful, organised approach to bringing the new curriculum to life - together, step by step with clarity over speed.

If you’re the kind of teacher who loves building strong relationships with ākonga and whānau, working collaboratively in teams, and making learning meaningful and fun, we’d love to hear from you.  Please state your preference of year level and include your strengths.
