Outdoor Education Teacher

Pukekohe High School is seeking an energetic, innovative, and enthusiastic outdoor education teacher to join our Health and PE faculty in term 1, 2027. Our outdoor education department is well resourced with in-school access to a climbing wall, mountain biking and kayaking.

Full-time, permanent position teaching outdoor education up to NCEA Level 3 as well as physical education and health to all year levels. Please indicate a willingness for this through the application process.

Experience to senior level in outdoor education, health, and physical education would be an advantage but is not essential.

The terms and conditions for this position is set by the relevant collective agreement. The salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $62,862 to $105,686, depending on applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals' actual salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
