Inclusive Learning Specialist (SENCO)

We are looking for a passionate, positive, and creative teacher who wants to make a real difference for our learners. Do you want to live our purpose to Nurture, Inspire and Grow our tamariki with new colleagues in our kura at Frankton, Queenstown?

We are excited to meet an experienced teacher or RTLB to come and join our team as our Inclusive Learning Specialist (SENCO). In this role you will work closely and collaboratively with our Leadership Team in supporting learners with neurodiversity, other special educational needs and our ESOL students.

This position is a fixed term role for Term 1 and Term 2, 2027.

We are looking for an individual who is:

Knowledge of inclusive teaching and learning practices.

Knowledge of ESOL and ELLP.

Passionate about fostering the well-being of tamariki.

Innovative, enthusiastic, self-motivated, honest, and caring.

Flexible, works efficiently, and manages time effectively.

Open to new ideas and invested in their professional and personal development.

Proactive in finding solutions and contributing positively to our school environment.

A collaborative team member who thrives on working with others to achieve shared goals.

An excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, learners, and the community.
