Scale A Teaching Position

St Joseph’s School Ōpunakē is a state-integrated Year 0–8 Catholic school in a beautiful coastal setting. We are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic classroom teacher with effective classroom management skills to join our supportive team. Year levels will be negotiated based on the strengths and experience of the successful applicant. Please state your preference of Year level in your application.

Experience in Structured Literacy, effective Mathematics teaching and Assessment for Learning practices is an advantage. We offer a collegial staff, a highly supportive Board and wonderful students who love to learn. Beginning teachers are encouraged to apply.
