About the role

We are looking for two enthusiastic, passionate and collaborative teachers to join our amazing team from the start of 2027, working within our Years 0–3 (Phase 1) area.

Puni School is a thriving semi-rural school with a strong sense of community, a rich history and a fantastic team of dedicated staff. We are fortunate to have a supportive Board, proactive PTA and wonderful whānau who genuinely value and contribute to our school.

Our PB4L approach is central to our positive school culture, where strong relationships, wellbeing, high expectations and celebrating success are at the heart of everything we do.

We are proud of our rural roots, traditions and the unique learning opportunities these provide for our tamariki. With our 150th Jubilee approaching in 2028, it's an especially exciting time to become part of the Puni School story!

We warmly welcome applications from teachers, including beginning teachers, who are passionate about making a difference, enjoy working collaboratively and are keen to contribute to all aspects of school life.

If you're looking for a school where you'll be valued, supported and encouraged to grow professionally, we would love to hear from you!
