builds strong, respectful relationships with ākonga, whānau and colleagues

manages both learning and behaviour effectively and positively

brings energy, adaptability and a collaborative mindset to their teaching

demonstrates up-to-date knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum

creates inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments

has strong classroom management and organisational skills.

Team leader opportunity for the right candidate with a fixed-term unit attached.

We are seeking a team leader who:

brings proven leadership experience and an ability to guide, mentor, and inspire a team of 5 teachers (including yourself)

demonstrates up-to-date knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and current pedagogical best practice

is an effective communicator who builds high-trust, collaborative relationships with staff, ākonga and whānau

drives team planning

models outstanding classroom practice and positive behavior management while prioritizing student achievement and well-being.
