Deputy Principal

An exciting opportunity exists for a successful teacher and leader to join our progressive, collaborative and faith-filled Catholic school. We are seeking a visionary, highly experienced education leader to join our senior leadership team as Deputy Principal. This position has a classroom teaching component, alongside the leadership responsibilities of the Deputy Principal role.

leads learning support, brings strength and experience in SENCO/learning support, working alongside teachers, whānau and agencies to support diverse learners

builds community, is relational, collaborative and committed to strengthening connections across our school, parish and wider community

lives our Catholic character, leads with compassion, service, integrity and respect, recognising that our Catholic values are not an addition to what we do - they are at the heart of who we are.

Permanent Scale A position with 2 permanent Deputy Principal management units and a full-time teaching component (2 days negotiable). Commencing at the beginning of the 2027 school year.

A willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.
