Specialist teacher CRT (0.8)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, versatile and forward-thinking Scale A specialist teacher to deliver our high-quality classroom release time (CRT) programme for Terms 1 and 2 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity to bring your unique passions and specialised knowledge to our kura, engaging learners across multiple year levels.

The ideal candidate will have strong specialist capabilities in The Arts or Physical Education and a proven ability to design innovative, hands-on learning experiences. You will be responsible for building mana-enhancing relationships with ākonga and maintaining excellent continuity of learning while regular classroom teachers take their release.

Key requirements:

NZ Registered Teacher with a current practising certificate.

Deep curriculum knowledge in your specialist subject area(s).

Strong classroom management strategies across various age groups.

A collaborative mindset to work seamlessly alongside regular classroom teachers.
