One of our talented team is relocating overseas so we are looking for a caring and capable teacher to work with our amazing explorers! Classroom level Year 3 and 4 OR Year 5 and 6 (by negotiation).

We will nourish you with high quality professional learning, daily fresh fruit and snacks, stylish merchandise and a proper coffee machine! All of this in an idyllic rural setting at a very well resourced school.

This can be a full time or 0.8 position for the right applicant.

Our school is a U5 school with a roll of 430 set in park-like grounds 5 minutes from Cambridge and 15 minutes from Hamilton.

The teacher we are looking for will be able to:

Build effective, warm and culturally responsive learning relationships with learners, their whānau and staff

Engage learners through relevant, innovative and high quality classroom management

Ensure EVERY child in their class gets a great learning experience every day

Work collegially and collaboratively.

An understanding of explicit teaching practices along with the ability to teach literacy with a scope and sequence approach is an expectation. We can provide high quality professional learning opportunities in this area.
