Language Teacher - Gagana Sāmoa

We seek a dynamic, passionate and enthusiastic teacher of Gagana Sāmoa to join our Languages faculty.

Applicants should have a current New Zealand teacher registration and a working knowledge of the New Zealand curriculum. The successful candidate will have:

a genuine passion for teaching and a clear understanding of NCEA

experience in differentiated teaching

experience in innovative teaching using digital technology

ability to be a team player who will work collaboratively to raise student achievement

knowledge of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ensure te reo me ōna Tikanga are upheld

relational practices to tautoko positive relationships within our kura.

A commitment to mana ōrite mō te mātauranga māori, and cultural responsiveness is also essential.

Applicants must have working rights in New Zealand.
