2 Teachers

We are looking for highly motivated, resilient and passionate teachers to work in our junior Years 0 to 3 and intermediate Years 7 to 8 school for 2027.

Successful schools are built on positive relationships and quality teachers, and we are looking for someone who is motivated and knows the qualities needed to work in a New Zealand School, because it is the right place for them: someone who knows Kauri Flats, our vision and what this means – not just for a job in New Zealand with an AI-written application.

We are a school where it is okay to try something new to make an impact on our students with lots of support around you, where it’s okay to have grand ideas and use your passions to influence a love of learning as we transition from open plan learning environments to single Ccell spaces.

excellent English language skills (both spoken and written) to teach literacy and the key foundations of learning

have a great sense of humour

excellent relationship builder with both kids, adults and whaanau

a deep knowledge of the Te Maataiaho (New Zealand Curriculum)

risk taker

culturally responsive

understand the future demands of 21st-century education

competent with technology (not just able to use Google apps).

solutions based

go the extra mile for our learners – because they’re worth it!

do not have a fixed mindset of how things should be done.

A keen interest in coaching sports and health is favourable.
