Havelock North High School Hawke's Bay
Head of Music
- Full time
- Permanent
About the role
Havelock North High School has a proud reputation for musical excellence both regionally and nationally. We are currently seeking a leader to contribute to and continue this legacy in the classroom and across the school.
Our music department is diverse and supports students to follow their interests, whether in contemporary or classical music or anywhere in between.
The successful applicant will be excited to bring out the best in our students by maintaining high-quality academic programmes and contributing to the extra-curricular life of our school. They will relish working in a co-educational environment where high-standards and expectations are the norm.
We are fortunate to be able to provide state-of-the-art facilities to our staff and students including newly renovated rehearsal spaces and a recently refurbished auditorium.
This is an important role for our school and community. It is a highly visible leadership position, requiring someone who is equally comfortable in the classroom, rehearsal room and on the stage.
Interested candidates are invited to contact the principal to arrange a time to meet and talk through the position in more detail.
