Classroom Teacher

Broadgreen Intermediate School is seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable and committed teacher to join our teaching team for a fixed-term period, covering an existing staff member's approved leave.

We are looking for a teacher who understands the unique needs of emerging adolescents and is passionate about creating an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning environment where all ākonga can thrive.

The successful applicant will:

build positive, respectful relationships with ākonga, whānau and colleagues

demonstrate effective classroom practice and a commitment to improving student outcomes

have strong classroom management skills and the ability to establish a positive learning culture

work collaboratively within a teaching team

be responsive to the diverse learning, social and emotional needs of Year 7 and 8 learners

contribute positively to the wider life and culture of our kura.
