Teacher

Stanley Avenue School is a welcoming and vibrant full primary school situated at the base of beautiful Mount Te Aroha. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our supportive team in a full-time, fixed-term position teaching a Year 3–4 class in 2027. This position is to cover a teacher who is currently on leave.

We are proud of our positive school culture, wonderful students and strong connections with our whānau and wider community. Our staff work closely together, sharing ideas, supporting one another and creating engaging learning opportunities for our students.

We are looking for a teacher who builds positive relationships, creates an inclusive and engaging classroom environment, and is passionate about helping every learner succeed. An understanding of structured literacy and a willingness to embrace ongoing professional learning would be an advantage.
