Kaiako Māori

He tono tēnei mō tētahi kaiako e mātatau ana i te reo Māori, ki te whakaako i ngā mahi o te reo Māori me ngā tikanga Māori, mai i ngā Tau 9-13. Ka tirohia ngā wheako whaiaro o te kaitono, inā hoki, ko te whāinga nui kia manaaki, kia ārahi hoki i ngā ākonga o Ngā Tūmanako o Kahurangi kia tipu ai, kia angitu ai rātou hei Māori.

Māu e mahi ngātahi ai ki te hapori whānui o te kura, me ngā whānau o ngā ākonga, hei tautoko i te angitu o ngā kaupapa Māori.

We are seeking a committed, motivated, and passionate Kaiako Māori to further the development of te reo Māori and tikanga Māori within both our Ngā Tūmanako o Kahurangi Māori Unit (Y9-Y13) and the wider school. Ngā Tūmanako o Kahurangi is dedicated to creating opportunities for our students to grow and succeed as Māori.

Applicants must have a high level of proficiency in te reo Māori. Experience in teaching NCEA would be beneficial, and skills in teaching Te Ao Haka and/or Tikanga ā iwi would be advantageous. Please state other teaching subjects.
