Are you a passionate and dedicated kaiako who loves supporting tamariki to learn, grow and thrive? We would love to hear from you!
We are a community-based, not-for-profit early childhood centre located in beautiful Picton. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, inclusive and nurturing environment where tamariki, whānau and kaiako feel valued, connected and supported.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring kaiako to join our friendly, supportive team. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a centre that values relationships, learning through play, cultural responsiveness and strong partnerships with whānau.

A recognised ECE qualification and current New Zealand teacher registration, or eligibility for registration. A genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting tamariki to reach their potential.
A commitment to learning through play and providing engaging, meaningful learning experiences.
An understanding of Te Whāriki and a commitment to bicultural practice and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
The ability to build respectful, responsive relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues.
A positive, collaborative approach and a willingness to contribute to a supportive team environment.
Good communication skills, initiative and a reflective approach to teaching and learning.

A community-based centre where relationships and a sense of belonging are at the heart of what we do.
The opportunity to contribute to an inclusive and culturally responsive curriculum.
