Dipton School Southland
Classroom Teacher (fixed term-part time)
- Part time
- Fixed term
- 0.6 FTTE
- Suitable for beginning teachers
About the role
Dipton School is looking for an enthusiastic team player, with proven teaching skills in literacy and numeracy, to join our teaching team for 2027.
This position would likely involve sharing the teaching of our Year 6-8 class with the principal. However we have not 100% confirmed our classroom structure for next year, meaning there could be some flexibility in the teaching level and total hours of work.
Dipton School is a small rural school positioned between Lumsden and Winton. We have a fantastic team culture, we work hard, but we still have heaps of fun.
Our parent community and board are 100% supportive, our students are amazing, and we recently received an excellent ERO report. Dipton School is truly a great place to work and to continue your teaching journey.
This position is 'fixed term' as it will be funded by our board in 2027, to enable us to staff our school over and above our Ministry of Education staffing allocation.
