About the role

St Joseph’s is a vibrant Catholic school in a growing community. We seek an experienced junior school specialist. You must be a passionate teacher who loves learning new things. The ability to motivate children to obtain their full potential in faith, learning and virtue is essential. The successful applicant will be a life-long learner and an authentic role model to our students.

Staff are expected to recognize and respect the school’s Catholic special character and be actively involved in the total life of the school, in a manner which respects the religious instruction given and religious observances practiced within the school.

To be permanently appointed the applicant must be eligible to meet the requirements of the Special Character position. Information regarding eligibility to fulfill these positions is described on fact sheet 9a included within the application pack. A completed Schedule 6 Clause 47.c. form is required to assess if you can meet the Special Character (tagged) criteria.

Job share arrangements may be considered for exceptional candidates. As this is a readvertised position we are also welcoming applications from untagged candidates who could be appointed fixed-term for one year (should there be no suitable tagged candidate).
