About the role
Help us grow and empower every learner. Napier Intermediate is seeking an experienced, registered teacher with a current full practising certificate to join us as our Learning Support Coordinator.
You will coordinate timely support for learners with disabilities and additional learning needs, strengthen inclusive classroom practice, and build trusting partnerships with students, whānau and specialist services. Working closely with our school leaders, you will help make learning support clear, accessible and effective.
We are looking for successful inclusive teaching experience, culturally responsive practice that upholds Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the ability to coach colleagues, use evidence and influence school improvement. Our values are Respect, Responsibility, Relationships and Resilience.
The 0.72 FTTE allocation is dedicated to LSC functions and fully released from regular classroom teaching duties. The weekly work pattern will be agreed with the Principal.
