  • Full time
  • Permanent

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic education leader to join our kura.

You will contribute to effective day-to-day leadership and administration of the school, while teaching a Year 7-8 class (one day out of the classroom and CRT release).

Mamaku is situated in a beautiful rural setting while only a 15 minute drive from Rotorua CBD. Mamaku School is a well-resourced Year 1-8 school with 1:1 devices (Year 5-8), indoor 25 metres heated swimming pool and covered astro-turf, and ample space for students to learn and play.

This is a genuine opportunity for a dedicated educational leader who is looking to expand their skill-set and grow their leadership capability. Whether you are an experienced school leader or an emerging leader, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for someone who will:

Display excellent classroom management, deliver an engaging curriculum programme and demonstrate high expectations of students.

Champion positive behaviour, well-being and belonging to enhance school culture.

Provide strategic and relational leadership across our kura.

Contribute confidently to our strategic direction and school improvement.

Lead and strengthen curriculum and teaching practice.

Bring energy, initiative and a solutions-focused approach.

School House may be available if interested.

We encourage prospective applicants to arrange a school visit.
