Science Teacher (Years 9–13) - Experienced

Auckland Seventh-day Adventist High School is a special character, state-integrated Christian High School, located in Māngere Bridge, Auckland.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Christian Science teacher who is committed to the ethos and values of Adventist education and is capable of teaching Years 9–13. The successful applicant will join our science department at the beginning of Term 1, 2027.

The successful applicant will hold New Zealand teacher registration (or be eligible to obtain it) and contribute to our dedicated science department, teaching Years 9–13.

As a tagged position, applicants must demonstrate a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Seventh-day Adventist special character and will have the capabilities to maintain programmes and activities that reflect the school’s special character, which are a condition of employment, commencing Term 1, 2027.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the relevant collective agreement. The appointment salary will depend on the applicant’s knowledge, qualifications and experience. An individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
