Classroom Teachers - 3 positions

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and collaborative teachers to join our team at Insoll Avenue School in 2027.

We are a vibrant, multicultural Year 0 to 6 school where relationships matter, expectations are high and every learner is valued. We pride ourselves on our positive school culture, supportive team environment and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.

We are looking for teachers who:

have sound curriculum knowledge and a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy teaching

demonstrate effective classroom management and an understanding of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L)

create positive, inclusive and well-organised learning environments

build strong, respectful relationships with students, colleagues and whānau

use assessment information to plan purposeful teaching and support student progress

are adaptable, resilient and confident working with students who have diverse learning, behavioural and social needs

are reflective practitioners, open to feedback and committed to ongoing professional growth

value teamwork, collaboration and contributing positively to school-wide expectations and practices.

Experience with Structured Literacy, Maths No Problem and explicit teaching approaches would be advantageous, along with experience working in a diverse school community.
