Religious Studies Teacher–Tagged(CL47)Position - State supporting subjects

St Patrick’s College Silverstream is seeking a Religious Studies teacher to join our dedicated team. This is a Tagged (CL47) position. A willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Special Character of the school is a condition of appointment.

The role

We are looking for a passionate educator who:

teaches Religious Studies from Years 9 to 13

supports and upholds the Special Catholic Character of the college

inspires and engages students in faith-based learning and discussions

works collaboratively with colleagues to foster a dynamic and supportive learning environment

will be actively involved in extracurricular activities and the Special Character of the college.

Requirements

A strong commitment to Catholic education and the ability to uphold the Special Character of the school.

Teaching qualifications and relevant experience in Religious Studies or Theology.

Experience teaching decondary students in New Zealand

The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

A willingness to participate in the wider life of the college, including liturgies, retreats, and pastoral activities.
