Year 7/8 Teacher

Got energy, ideas and a soft spot for teenagers who are almost grown up but definitely aren't finished growing? We should talk.

Carisbrook School is looking for a fantastic teacher to join our Year 7/8 team in a fixed-term position.

This is your chance to work with some of the most exciting learners in the kura, our senior students. They're developing their identities, discovering what they're good at, testing their independence and getting ready to take on high school.

They need teachers who will challenge them, back them, make them laugh and refuse to give up on them.

Could that be you?

This isn't just another classroom job!

It's an opportunity to:

Grow future leaders. Give our rangatahi meaningful opportunities to take responsibility, make decisions and contribute to their kura.

Make learning memorable. Bring your creativity to literacy, numeracy and real-world learning that connects with young adolescents.

Build confidence and belonging. Help students recognise their strengths and believe in what they can achieve.

Be part of a great team. Join colleagues who care deeply about their learners and are happy to share ideas, lend a hand and have a laugh.

Make a genuine difference. Help prepare our students for the academic, social and personal challenges of high school.

Ready to bring your best?

Fill in the application form... https://forms.gle/YFCtwaAhGy346Qp19 and send your CV and cover letter to [email protected] by the 30th of October at 5 pm.

Don't just look for your next job. Look for a place where you can make a difference.

Come join our whānau. Let's help our rangatahi stand tall.
