ECE Kaiako - Over 2's

Join the warm and welcoming team at BestStart Ferry Road! We're seeking a passionate Qualified and Certificated Teacher to work with our over 2-year-old tamariki in a permanent, 30-hour-per-week role (Monday to Friday).

In this role, you'll support tamariki through an exciting stage of growth and discovery, creating engaging learning experiences that foster confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. You'll build strong relationships with children and whānau, extend children's interests, celebrate individual identities, and work collaboratively with a passionate teaching team.

What you'll bring

BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current NZ Teacher Certification.

Strong understanding of Te Whāriki, ECE regulations, and child-led learning.

Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Passion for quality teaching and learning.

Confidence supporting the development of over 2-year-old tamariki.

Interest in sustainability and environmental education.
