Classroom Teacher

Kauri Park School is a small, close-knit school surrounded by beautiful native bush on Auckland’s North Shore. We have wonderful tamariki, a supportive community and a team of teachers who care deeply about providing the best possible learning experiences for every child.

Due to a teacher taking parental leave, we are looking for an excellent teacher to join our team in a fixed-term position.

The successful applicant will be a reflective and capable classroom teacher with strong knowledge of teaching literacy and mathematics. You will have high expectations for learners, work collaboratively with colleagues, and be committed to creating a classroom where children feel known, supported and challenged to do their best.

We are looking for someone who is willing to grow professionally, contribute positively to our school community, and bring energy and enthusiasm to their teaching. A commitment to continuing to grow your capability in te reo Māori and Te Ao Māori is important to us.
