Early Childhood Kaiako

Hope Preschool is a community-based, not for profit full-day early childhood centre in Mataura, Southland. Our biblical philosophy and values guide our operations, curriculum and teaching practice.

We have a fulltime position, 40 hours per week, 9:00am-5:30pm. This position would suit a qualified, certificated early childhood or primary trained kaiako. New graduates are welcome. Applicants will be able to work alongside a diverse range of tamariki and whānau and contribute to our Christian philosophy and values.

We offer a purpose-built teaching and learning environment, great team culture and mentoring support. We prioritise high teacher to child ratios, staff collaboration and professional growth. Kaiako receive one hour non-contact per 8 hour day, extended pay parity, paid registration and first aid.

This position is not suitable for AEWV applicants.
