Healthy Active Learning Advisor - Rotorua

Are you passionate about promoting active, healthy lifestyles for tamariki through education and physical activity?

Working alongside another Healthy Active Learning Advisor, you will work into a number of primary and intermediate schools across the Central Bay of Plenty to provide support to schools and kura to understand the value of the health and physical education curriculum as well as advocating for quality school and community play, sport and physical activities outside curriculum time.

The successful candidate will:

Hold a relevant tertiary qualification, in education, sport/recreation / community sport / development or have;

Experience, knowledge and understanding of the operating models in primary and intermediate schools and/or kura; and

Experience in designing and facilitating professional learning and development opportunities.
