Classroom Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic, capable teacher to join our friendly team at Maihiihi School in 2027.

Maihiihi is a small rural Year 1–8 school near Ōtorohanga, where small class sizes mean you can really know your learners and make a difference. We have a supportive staff and Board, excellent resources, and a positive school community.

This is a full-time, permanent position, commencing Term 1, 2027. Part-time options may also be considered for the right applicant. Classroom level is negotiable. We are happy to work with the strengths and experience of the successful applicant when determining where they will teach.
