ECE Kaiako Opportunity

Are you a passionate, caring and motivated kaiako looking for an opportunity to make a difference?

Come and join our Mokopuna whānau!

Mokopuna Early Childhood Centre, located in Northland, is looking for a qualified and registered ECE kaiako to join our young and developing teaching team. We want a kaiako who is proactive, dependable and willing to step up when needed, while knowing when to ask for support.

? What we are looking for

A qualified ECE teacher with current New Zealand Teaching Council registration.

A genuine love for tamariki and a commitment to their learning, development and wellbeing.

Someone who can use their initiative, think on their feet and take responsibility for their teaching practice.

A reliable and self-motivated kaiako who can work independently and as part of a team.

Someone who is willing to learn, take feedback on board and grow professionally.

A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to the everyday needs of an early childhood centre.

An appreciation for te ao Māori, tikanga Māori, te reo Māori and whanaungatanga.

? What makes Mokopuna special?

Our kaupapa is grounded in Māori values, culture and identity. We believe in creating an environment where tamariki feel safe, loved, connected and proud of who they are.

You will be joining a young, developing team where your willingness to contribute, take initiative and support those around you is just as important as your qualifications. We are looking for someone who brings energy, a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to doing their job well.

? Is this you?

If you are qualified and registered, passionate about tamariki, willing to learn and someone who takes pride in doing a good job, we would love to hear from you.

Experience is not everything. Attitude, initiative, reliability and a willingness to contribute make a real difference. ?
