Teacher of Technology

(Monday – Thursday)

Start Date: Term 1, 2027.

Are you an inspirational, innovative, and skilled Technology Specialist looking to make a real impact? We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic educator to join our vibrant, supportive, and collegial team starting from the start of 2027.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who can inspire students through creativity, design thinking, and practical hands-on skills. You will plan and deliver high-quality technology programmes aligned with the updated Technology New Zealand Curriculum.

The role involves delivering weekly technology lessons to Year 7 and 8 students from our school and local client schools. You will be teaching in our fantastic, well-resourced Technology department.

Our ideal candidate will:

have an excellent understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum, particularly the Technology learning area and design processes

possess a sound, rigorous knowledge of technology Health and Safety

build positive, respectful and culturally responsive relationships with students, staff, and whānau

demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills

encourage innovation, creativity and practical problem-solving in an inclusive environment

be committed to ongoing professional growth, collaborative practice and the school’s unique community.

Requirements

Applicants must hold current New Zealand Teacher Registration.

Must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. (Please clearly state your supporting subjects in your application).
