Scale A Teacher – Years 7 and 8 (Fixed-Term)

State Integrated Catholic Primary School (Years 1 to 8).

St Michael’s School, Taita, is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic educator to join our dedicated team in a Year 7–8 class for 2027. This is a fixed-term position for the 2027 school year, with the potential to become permanent.

A willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school shall be a condition of appointment.

We are looking for a teacher who:

brings expertise in Structured Literacy and Mathematics, with a proven track record of lifting student achievement

demonstrates experience in building strong, culturally responsive relationships within a Pasifika community, whānau, and parish

supports and upholds the Catholic character and values of our school community

communicates effectively and collaborates closely with staff, students, and whānau

is willing to contribute actively to the corporate and pastoral life of the school.
