Passionate about inclusive education you will have the ability to work closely with our DP: Guidance and Support and be able to help support our children who have additional learning needs, enabling them to access services they need to progress in ways that recognise their identity, language and culture. You will work to build the learning support capability of teachers, and to help identify and plan for the learning support needs of all students in our school.

Proven experience as a highly-skilled, effective, passionate and experienced practitioner, who is fully involved, and a positive team player
Outstanding interpersonal skills, genuinely interested in the work you do
Strong organisational and administrative skills; attentive to paperwork and capable of working in an agile and flexible manner
Demonstrated successful experience in identifying and planning for the individual support needs of students with relevant programmes and projects
A sound knowledge, commitment to, and understanding of the learning support system and the learning support action plan priorities
The ability to engage, influence and work closely with all stakeholders in the school, including whānau and numerous sector agencies
A sound understanding of and respect for the cultural backgrounds of our learners
