Under 2's Kaiako

One of our gorgeous teachers has to go back to China to care for her aging parents, so sadly we need to find someone to step into her role.

We have a young-at-heart, fun, and an always up-for-a-laugh team who support each other, and a management team that is very supportive of all our team members and encourage all kaiako to grow, both personally and professionally.

Ideally, we would like someone who is willing to work in a team and work 5 days, as we support each other to have a work-life balance, and everyone gets the chance to have early finishes.

• Understanding that you might need to pick up your own tamariki up from school or shoot off for a doctor’s appointment.

• The expectation that you WILL NOT take work home with you!
• Team nights out
• 10 Children to 3 or 4 teachers in our Under 2's

We would love you to have:

• An ECE or primary qualification
• Current teacher registration
• First Aid certificate is a bonus, but definitely not a must as we can pay for that.
• A Smile
• An infectious laugh
• Knowledge about Te Whāriki and IDP’s
• Honesty
• The willingness to grow and learn and be part of a team
• Ability to work within the hours of 7.15am to 5.30pm, on a rotating roster.
