Qualified teacher

We are looking for a toddler teacher, age group 19 months to 2.7 years or a preschool teacher. This role is suitable for a teacher graduating in the new year, a fresh graduate or an experienced one. 

We have a solid team with a very low staff turn over. We are proud to say that throughout the pandemic and current teacher shortage, we have not resorted to hiring relievers from agencies. We understand that consistency is the key for happy and content children but also for a team to grow in strength. We build our own pool of relievers and choose carefully to ensure that anybody who works with us shares the same values and will mesh will with the rest of the team.

Amazing ratio across all centre - 1:3 for infants, 1:6 in the toddler room, and 1:8 in both preschool areas. Our rooms have small numbers with great ratio allowing every teacher to build relationships and at the same time honour our rituals and routines. 

We value biculturalism and this is evident on our place-based learning approach, our families' involvement, we go for regular nature or beach walks. We have a group curriculum leader who is very knowledgeable in Reggio Emilia and inspires the team to offer quality care and education for all children. We have a cafe where children sit and dine. Our very unique nutrition programme only offers wholefoods, refine sugar free, and globally inspired food.

I've been with Nurture for 8 years with both of my boys joining in the infant's room from 4 months of age. They are now in primary school and Nurture has truly been a 2nd home for my family.
