We seek an enthusiastic kaiako who values play based learning in natural environments. The position is suitable for a beginning teacher or someone looking for leadership opportunities. Position can be full-time or part-time.
Situated in the heart of the local community, in the rural Kingseat area, our mixed age group centre at Karaka West is 20 mins easy driving from Papakura, Pukekohe and Waiuku. Our individualised programme is inspiring and democratic, with a major emphasis on out of centre and outdoor nature/forest based programmes. (We have been implementing community and nature based (forest school) programmes since 1995 and offer specialised training and development).Our mixed age settings also support tamariki to work together and to learn from more capable peers.
