Are you a passionate and positive leader who gets excited not only about our tamariki’s learning and development but also mentoring and supporting Kaiako?
Do you have a strong wealth of knowledge of Te Whāriki and assessment, planning and evaluation and can passionately guide a teaching teams growth and development?
Millie’s House Armagh Street is looking for a team leader to join our family and lead our Adventurers team. The successful applicant will need to be qualified, have full teacher registration and have experience working in an ECE setting. You will be leading a small team of teachers as well as working alongside our team leaders and centre manager to support achieving the goals and vision for the centre.
We are looking for a leader who:
Places positive collaborative relationships with children, colleagues, families and the wider community at the heart of what they do.
Leads with calm purpose and creates a welcoming, positive and engaging learning environment for all children and Kaiako.
Encourages growth through reflective discussions and robust internal evaluations within their teaching team and as a centre.
Wants to grow and develop in their role and empowers others to develop in their roles and reach their highest potential.
Puts professionalism at the forefront of all that they do and is able to underpin Our Code and Standards consistently in their work while inspiring and guiding others to do the same.
