Hauora coordinator

Mana College is looking to appoint a hauora coordinator. Our hauora coordinator will lead a well-established pastoral and guidance team that also includes a social worker, doctor and full-time nurse.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of the nature of counselling within schools; empathy and understanding of our unique learning context and the ability to relate to Y9–13 learners with diverse needs. Position could be full-time or part-time by negotiation.

The ideal applicant would have successful background experience in establishing effective and supportive relationships with adolescents and their whānau. A registered teacher with membership of NZAC would also be an advantage. 

This position is to commence as soon as possible.
