Wairarapa College is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated permanent, full-time Head of Learning Area Health teacher who is focused on student engagement and achievement. A willingness to contribute to our rich co-curricular life is essential. The ability to teach across all year levels is an advantage. Please state any supporting subjects you may have.

A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, culturally responsive practice, and Te Ao Māori is vital. We are looking for a teacher who is keen on developing curriculum with local and relevant content while integrating student interest, embracing cross curricular teaching and effective use of digital technology with the curriculum.

This is an exciting opportunity to teach at Wairarapa’s largest secondary school.  

Applicants will be required to meet the Covid-19 Health Orders as they apply to the education sector.

Start date: Term 2, 2022.
