Visual arts teacher

Full-time, fixed-term, start date: beginning term 2 2022, end date: eginning term 2 2023 (maternity leave) 

We are an innovative senior secondary school seeking a passionate teacher, leader and learner who has an excellent understanding of senior visual arts (please state your strengths).

The successful candidate will ideally have experience teaching senior students and demonstrate a commitment to collaboration in order to provide rich authentic learning experiences. Ideally, you will also have experience using NCEA to identify and evidence student learning. You will be driven by the desire to ensure every student can find personal and academic success in ways that grow their dignity, purpose and options.  

Additional remunerated responsibilities may be available and negotiated depending on your experience and suitability. This position is also suitable for beginning teachers.
