Head teacher

We are looking for a full time qualified and certified head teacher for our Young Children's Centre aged 2-5years.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Warm, welcoming and has a fun sense of humor
• Has excellent communication skills and a passion and commitment to quality education
• Excellent understanding of Te Whāriki, planning and documentation to support children's learning and internal evaluation
• Be able to build and maintain relationships within the centre environment
• Be a supportive leader who enjoys mentoring and leading teachers to their full potential with a supportive management
• Be able to work on a rotating roster between the hours of 7.15am-5.45pm.

You will hold an ECE qualification, First Aid, and currently be fully certified.  

Applicants should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
